Penny - East Yorks

Penny - East Yorks
Penny has recently come over from Spain, where her current owners rescued her as she had been abandoned after her owner had died. She stayed with her new owners in Spain until it was time to transport her to the UK. They already had a German Shepherd girl who is 8 years old. They were confident there wouldn't be a problem as Penny showed no aggression towards the dogs she met at the kennels in Spain....but unfortunately Penny took an instant dislike to Katie so are now separated.

Penny spends her days at work in a busy office with her owners and is very friendly when anyone walks in.

Our volunteer took Penny for a walk and she was happy for him to touch her all over and did not react. She felt reasonably strong, pulled slightly at points but not excessively, just happy to walk or trot along. Basically a very friendly and sweet girl.

Our volunteer has suggested that they come out walking with a small group and he can then see how Penny reacts when out and around other dogs.
