This is 7 year old Paddington who along with his life-long companion, Shyler, is currently in kennels, both dogs having been left there nearly a year ago. Sadly it transpires that their owner emigrated without a second thought for these poor fellas.
Shyler is a similar age to Paddington and is a Staffie cross.
Both dogs though initially shy, are good with people and will take treats very gently when offered. Paddington walked well on the lead for our volunteer and appeared unconcerned by passing people and horses. Paddington willingly gives his paw on command likewise when asked to sit or lay down.
In an ideal world we would love to rehome these two guys together because, as stated, they have been together for the last seven years. However, the very fact they are looking for a home demonstrates that it is less than an ideal world and so we do realise this may not be an option for them.
