Oscar - Lancashire

Oscar - Lancashire
What a handsome big lad Oscar is, just two years old, entire and needing a new experienced home where they can continue his training and spend more time with him. He greeted our assessor with a bark and tried to jump up, no aggression just a youngster wanting attention. Outside he loves to play ball and has an abundance of energy but with working owners he is left till lunch time and walked, then again in the evening. This is a dog that needs his energy channelled either with longer walks or with more mental stimulation. Unfortunately Oscar blotted his copy book and took a nip at a stranger who approached him whilst on the lead, from behind, no action was taken as the incident was completely out of character and Oscar was definitely startled. He is good around children, but due to his exuberance would recommend aged over 9 years old. He is good around other dogs, will chase cats outside. Knows basic commands and would require further work on lead though off the lead recall excellent. Oscar is a lovely boy who with the right training and experience will make one cracking dog!
