Nova is a stunning looking girl who is quite nervous of strangers and takes a few minutes to settle and say hello, once met she is your friend for life. Sadly Nova is looking to be re homed as she is getting far too dominant with the other bitch in the household and fights are happening on a regular basis. Nova is a good family dog and happily lives with young children. Outside she is used to walking with her family or a dog walker and she is good on the lead but is still having lead training for reactions to other medium/large dogs - apparently off lead Nova is good and has excellent recall to her name. Our assessor could see that Nova is a very clever girl and appears to have boundless energy therefore a home with an active lifestyle would suit her. She currently lives with another GSD bitch (who she challenges) and a smaller male dog who she is fine around, therefore Nova should be okay with a male companion after careful introduction. Nova knows basic commands, can be selectively deaf (cant they all) and appear strong willed but she is only young and does listen so with a confident owner Nova will certainly be a wonderful doggie companion as she is very loving and loyal. Nova is microchipped and spayed. Our volunteers thought Nova was an absolute poppet, a very friendly good natured girl who loves running free and has excellent recall!
