What a beautiful well loved and behaved dog we have here in Max, the cross GSD/Doberman. 6 years old, a lively and intelligent lad who likes a fuss but equally happy sat on his own - doesn't like to be mithered too much. That unfortunately is the reason for re homing, his owner now has young grand children that are visiting and Max although great with older children is very wary of these toddlers and because he likes his own space he is being separated from them when they are in the home. Owner feels it would be best to re home this gorgeous boy now whilst he still has the chance to find a brilliant new home. He greeted our assessor with a bark, but happily came to say hello and have a fuss, then quietly sat on the floor doing his own thing whilst they chatted. On a walk he was eager to get going and pulled slightly but soon settled, he likes to sniff a lot does Max, but good off lead and happy around other dogs. A definite no to cats as will chase. Due to the cross breed of GSD/Doberman Max will obviously require an experienced handler. Only other thing to be aware is Max is quite protective of his food, he is best left when munching! He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered.
