This stunning fella is long-coated, black and tan Jax. Jax is a strapping young man and will pull strongly on the lead, although he does respond to his recall command it can be in his own time and therefore for this reason Jax is rarely let off the lead. Added to this Jax’s reaction to other dogs can be mixed and work on his socialisation skills will need to be high on the agenda for his new owner.
Jax happily plays with the boys in his family but his behaviour recently towards their daughter has changed and this has led to their heart-breaking decision to seek a new home for Jax. That said whilst our volunteer was completing our assessment, Jax’s home was visited by a total of 3 strangers and Jax was only merely wary of each person.
At only 18 months old Jax has a lot of maturing to do and will need an experienced owner who not only has the patience but who is prepared to put the time and effort into Jax’s development. In the right hands Jax has the potential to be a fabulous addition to any single person or couple.
