“We are trying to find Mac a new loving home on behalf of the Guide Dogs for the blind Association.
They say he is a gorgeous boy who made it as a Guide Dog and then was attacked twice in harness which has left him a bit unpredictable with other dogs. He can be mixed with calmer and quieter types but can pull/lunge on the lead, especially if the other dog is reacting to him.
They continue to work with him and free run him in areas less populated with other dogs. He gains a lot of trust from a calm and experienced handler and this is why it would be beneficial to find a GSD person who can walk him and work with him to gain confidence. He is a beautiful loving lad, excellent in the home and basically just wants to be with you.
