Meet the gorgeous Gus who will be 1 in April.
Gus is looking for a new home due to no fault of his own.
Our volunteer was greeted by a very excitable dog. He jumps up and mouths when he is excited.
He is up to date with his vaccinations.
He is not neutered, he is too young so his new owner would have to agree to have that done when he is old enough.
Gus has never lived with children. He has met them on walks and has been fine. We would rehome him with older children who are experienced with GSD.
Gus currently lives with a female Frenchie and is friendly with dogs outside the home. He wants to play with them so he can live with another dog. He has never been in a fight.
Gus has never lived with cats and has never met livestock. Gus is house trained and will whine at the back door if he needs to do the toilet.
Gus doesn't like fireworks and doesn't like motor bikes- he will cower when they go past.
He will need an experienced owner to carry on with his training. He knows commands sit, down, stay and go away. His recall has been good but he hasn’t had any exercise recently because of his owner's ill health. He will need back to basics training when he is in a new home.
