This scared little girl is 6yr old Nikki, an entire semi long haired bitch. She has spent months in kennels where a lot of work has been done to teach her to play and build up her confidence enough for her to go into a foster home with another GSD.
Nikki was originally handed over to GSDR when her elderly owners health had deteriorated so that he could no longer look after her.
She was used to being locked in a bathroom so hadn't had much interaction with people. Nikki hadn't been walked for at least 18months and when she was walked previously has never been let off lead.
Nikki is ok with other dogs but unknown with cats or children. Due to her nervous nature we would not rehome her with young children. Nikki will need a special, patient home who will help her over come her anxieties, build up an exercise and socialisation program, and learn to live the life that every dog deserves.
