This beauty finds herself safe in rescue after she was taken into care whilst heavily pregnant. Now the pups have gone, Nikita has become a resident who is much loved by the staff and appears to accept her daily routine with ease. Our assessor arrived to find Nikita playing ball with her handler and completely focussed on him and the game, she spotted me and immediately became vocal and protecting her space, no aggression, just typical vocal shep. Nikita is very happy around the people she knows and trusts and sees on a daily basis, having said that she did gently take treat from my hand, was happy once original handler out of sight to go for a walk and she is a dream on the lead and very easy to walk. Sadly not much is known about Nikita's past, it is believed she lived with another dog (hence the pregnancy) and the only time they have seen Nikita react to people is when a gentleman had silver hair - so maybe her previous owner was an older man who she obviously didn't much like! Nikita is a lovely dog who will bond quite easily with her new owner and should become one easy to handle girl.
