Sam came to GSDR after being caged for 10 hours a day. He is the most friendly dog with people you have ever met, loves a tummy rub, can groom him for hours, excellent in the home, no toy or food aggression, truly dont know he is there. Very intelligent boy who just wants to please BUT because of his early isolated existence Sam can be very bad around other dogs but then again on some occasions, you can just check him and he will sit and let the dog pass. SO we need someone who has the time and patience to socialise and train Sam that other dogs are not a threat and when checked he cant then try and turn on you!! Walking on the lead Sam is very good and off lead has excellent re call (but obviously make sure no other dogs are around) SAM HAS BEEN IN KENNELS SINCE JANUARY - surely there is someone out there who can help this beautiful friendly dog whose only vice is not knowing how to deal with dogs - in your home and with you he is an angel - please get in touch to foster or adopt this lovely man Sam.
