Nala is just a ypoungster and sadly looking for a new home.
The volunteer got a bark at the garden gate on arrivacl but Nala soon calmed down and took a treat gently. Once in the home Nala was let into the kitchen and again once she had calmed down she was allowed to meet the volunteer.
The owners adopted her privately when she was about 9 months old but sadly find hwer too strong and feel they are not giving her what she needs.
She has been fine with the children in the home , as with most GSD's keen tpo chase a squirrel and a rabbit !!! probably a cat to as she has never met any.
She is said to be inquisitive around other dogs but hasn't really been socialised so whilst not aggressive work will need to be put in to introduce her to dogs. She was walked around a busy park with lots going on and was absolutely fine, just unsure what to do when she saw another dog. She has been off lead but again fabulous with no distractions less so when too many distractions.
Nala would suit a home where the adopters are invested in her training. With calm consistency and boundaries this loving young lady has so much to offer. She is not perfect but if you are prespared to work with her she is definitely young enough to learn and become a fabulous companion for most families.
