This lovely young lady is sadly looking for her final forever home. Such a sad set of circumstances but she rerally does deserve to live out her life in the best home
Myla lost her owner to cancer a short while ago. It is reported that due to ill health Myla hadn't been walked very often in the last couple of years. The lovely couple that agreed to take her in say that she is an absolute swweetheart but due to her strength and them being in their 80's they feel they cannot cope,
Myla greeted the volunteer with interest. She gave him a good sniff and seemed to like him. Once the forms were filled out he took her for a walk.
Myla is VERY strong on the lead and pulled for 90% of the walk. She seems to be walked on a harness but change that to a dogmatic or headcollear of some description you would have better control. Whilst out walking another off lead dog came to introduce himself with=out his owner and the assessor allowed the introduction as he wanted an idea of what she was like. With a bit of reassurance Myla said hello . With some slow introductions we think that she will be fine. In the garden she seems anxious when dogs pass in the field behind.
This lovely lady is still grievng the loss of her owner. She needs an experienced home who understands that she may take some time to bond. She is both ball and treat motivated . She will become a very loyal friend to the lucky adopter.
