Murphy is a young dog who is still very boisterous and playful and when excited mouths quite hard, therefore he will need an experienced GSD home to get him out of this habit and indeed continue his training in terms of socialisation and lead work. Murphy is allowed off lead to run and play but if he sees another dog he has little or no recall as wants to play. Our assessor took Murphy for a walk and whilst strong on lead was manageable and when they saw a dog Murphy wanted to pull towards and bark but when corrected and asked to walk on he duly did. Murphy is very treat orientated and a very biddable dog who truly does want to please. Murphy is fine around horses, a little timid when he sees cows, sheep not known. He is good being left and at worst can start to chew his bed if bored. Due to his boisterous nature we would advise re homing Murphy with older children only. Murphy is neutered and microchipped, vaccinations out of date.
