Munchkins - Hereford

Well here are the Munchkins 5 of the 6 puppies that we rescued from a public shelter in Romania. We have one boy now called Eddie plus 4 girls - Elsa, Lotte, Rosie and Suzi.

This is the first time we have ever brought puppies across although we have rescued older dogs. We felt these poor little souls would not have much hope out there so we gave them the chance of coming here to find good homes.

They are obviously not all from the same litter but we think Elsa and Lotte are sisters. They are all between 3-4 months old and we think Eddie is the oldest, he is also the biggest of the puppies.

It is difficult to say for sure what breeds they are although Eddie may be GSD or GSD cross. His tail is very short so we think it has been cut off half way. The others may be Carpathian crosses, especially Suzi.

Early indications would suggest that these puppies are going to grow into medium to large dogs when fully grown.

They all have full passports and are microchipped

Meet the Munchkins

From left to right we have Rosie, Lotte, Suzi, Steady Eddie and chunky monkey Elsa

Rosie on the left is quite shy and the poor girl is showing signs of rickets because of poor diet and living in a shelter and not getting outside. She is now on a good raw diet with minced bones to give her the minerals she needs. She also needs to be outside in natural daylight to promote vitamin D production. This problem will then resolve. The gorgeous pretty girl on the right is Suzi who is a bossy little madam but adorable.

Eddie, Suzi and Lotte. Eddie is a very sweet, quiet, affectionate boy who loves to sit on your lap for a cuddle. He has a kind of curly wiry coat. Lotte like Elsa is great fun but right in your face - just like sister Elsa.

Elsa and her sister Lotte. Elsa is a great fun puppy who loves to play and loves a kiss and a cuddle too just like her sister. They are into everything.

These two Rosie and Eddie are just adorable and the quietest and shyest of all the puppies

They all play lovely together although it does get a bit rough at times. Typical puppies - play, eat, sleep and poo!

This little girl Elsa is just so cute. We called her Elsa because it's an anagram of seal as we thought she had a face like a sea lion!

Suzi is one very pretty girl, probably Carpathian Shepherd or mix but don't be fooled by that butter wouldn't melt look............
