Monty - Coventry

Monty - Coventry
Here we have a beautifully shiny coated, well built lad in 7 year old Monty. He is currently looking to be re homed due to extended working hours and it isn't fair to keep him home alone so long, especially as when he was first taken into this home 5 years ago he suffered terribly with separation anxiety and they would hate for that to return. Monty greeted our assessor brilliantly, no barking just came over had a sniff, told to go inside and he obediently went, later he was invited out into the garden to have his photo taken and 2 rabbits were running loose, Monty didn't bat an eyelid and our assessor was really impressed with his temperament and general behaviour. Monty is currently walked on a long extended lead, he is good around other dogs as long as introduced first. He has never lived with a dog, cats or children in his current home. Monty has good basic obedience and apparently went to the prison service as a puppy but didn't make the grade - that maybe why he is still curious when he hears a buzzer? Anyway Monty will make a great addition to someone used to a large breed and who wants a good companion, although if you fuss Monty too long, he will bark to say enough now - cute! He is vaccinated and microchipped.
