Poor Misty got off to a bad start in life, spending her first 2+ years as a neglected breeding bitch for her original owner (the tip of her right ear has been bitten off). Since moving to her current owner 6 months ago, she has improved, but is still nervous and unsure of herself.
Our assessor spent time with her,during which her trust started to grow and she became quite playful. She has been known to nip, which her owner puts down to fear when told off.
Currently living with another 9-year old GSD bitch, we think she is capable of becoming a well-adjusted dog given patience and TLC. Misty is a quick learner
Her owner is pregnant and worried about how Misty will react to the new baby. To be on the safe side, we think she would be best rehomed where there are no small children. She should be OK living with another calm dog.
