This lovely young lady is 4 year old Mishka. Pedigree Mishka proved to walk very well on the lead when out with our volunteer being unfazed by passing traffic and pedestrians although her recall will require some work with her new owner.
Mishka’s owner advises that she is good with other dogs and with the one dog encountered during their walk our volunteer said that, with the exception of some mutual barking, there was no reaction on Mishka’s part. Mishka has lived harmoniously with up to four other dogs in the past.
Mishka, like a lot of Shepherds, can be really quite vocal and her welcome for visitors is quite boisterous although not in any way aggressive.
Mishka is looking for a new home following a recent health issue for her owner. Mishka would benefit from an experienced GSD owner with the patience and time to take her training back to basics, setting her boundaries and providing both mental and physical stimulation to enable her to become the wonderful and loyal companion that she is destined to be.
