This gorgeous boy is 12 years young and has sadly lost his owner. His whole world has been turned upside down and he is grieving.
He has been taken in by a member of the family but sadly he doesn't like the residents dogs so they have had to make the heartbreaking decision to find him a very special retirement home.
The volunteer was met by a happy chappie who seemed pleased to see her. He likes his walks and trundles along, he doesn't pull on the lead. He likes to have a sniff and from a distance didn't really react to anything going past him.
Kai really needs out of his temporary home. We would like to find him a quiet home where he can get over his grief and enjoy his retirement. As an old man he can be quite stubborn or maybe a touch of selective hearing ???
He has spent his last few years with an elderly gentleman who was failing in health so maybe didn't get the care that was needed. It is obvious that he loved his owner and at present his whole world is upside down.
Hopefully there will be somebody who can offer this boy a warm cosy home, with patience to let him settle and get over his loss. He I am sure will come round and enjoy the years that he has left.
