Milo is 3 years old and sadly due to ill health of the owner is looking for a new home.
He is vaccinated and microchipped.
He is unknown around young children but said to be good with older dog savvy children.
Sadly work needs to be done with socilisation as he is not keen on other dogs, whether that is aggression or just lack of socialisation is not known.
He is a definite no to cats.
When the volunteer arrived she could hear barking, a typical sound of a GSD warning his owner someone is approaching. Milo is a big boy of around 40kg who is an exuberant adolscent possibly looking for his 3rd home. He needs basic life skills and a calm experinenced home to help him become the dog that he deserves to be.
Out walking he is loud and strong on the lead when he sees another dog. With calm confidence and training it can be turned around.
At home he is a light chaser, shadows on the television. This could be that he needs more mental stimulation to help him tire and relax.
Sadly the owner is struggling to cope as he is a big strong boy, so a new experienced home is quite urgent.
If you are up for a challenge please don't overlook this boy. With time and hard work he can become the dog that you want him to be.
