Millie came to the attention of GSDR when she was picked up by the dog warden and kennelled at the local pound. Her chip details revealed that she is a pure bred Malinois but nonetheless she remained unclaimed and so became available for adoption.
As is typical of her breed, Mille was extremely energetic and 'full on' but showed that she had a delightful cheerful personality considering her plight.
Millie was quickly rehomed but this adoption has sadly broken down due to an unexpected deterioration in her new owner's health. Mille does need someone who can cope with her youth and vitality. Although Millie had no basic training she has made excellent progress and is proving willing to learn and is easy to handle.
Millie has a sweet nature. She can be over ebullient but she can play with others dogs happily. She will need further consolidation of her socialization. Although she has interacted well with children socially on walks, she would only be suitable for a home with older children as she can be so exuberant.
Millie has endless potential to be an outstanding dog in the right hands. She has made good progress since being in a home setting and we know that she has no major issues. She has the potential to be an outstanding and really lovely girl.
