This lovely young lady is Millie who is 14 months old and not yet spayed.
Millie loves human company and she currently lives with another dog but she is toy and food possessive which has caused a few scraps. This has been compounded by the fact that she is left for hours every day with the other dogs with a dog walker coming in.
Millie is a very friendly dog and is great in the home whilst her owners are present.
She loves her teddies and brought those over to our volunteer to play.
She pulls a little on the lead but more training and a suitable harness would help. She is just very excited and keen.
Her recall is excellent and she never goes far from her owners.
She sometimes gives a little woof when people walk past the window but nothing major.
She doesn't like cats.
She is a very active dog and we think she is not being walked enough.
Millie started having separation anxiety at about 10mths old. This is her second home already so it may be insecurity. Her first home was a very small flat.
Millie is a typical teenage GSD with no real issues other than her separation anxiety. She will start destroying things as soon as her humans leave the house.
She is happy to be crated if someone is around but has destroyed 2 crates when left alone in the house even with another dog present.
Millie needs an owner who is around most of the time.
