Mila was originally saved by a lady who found her in a bad condition and obviously used as a breeding bitch. She took her into her care until she could find a new forever home for Mila. The current home feel they are not the right family for her as they havent got the experience to deal with introducing Mila to other dogs and she can sometimes stilll mouth and nip when excited. They provide a loving stable home for her and lavish her with love and praise but are struggling to be pack leaders. Our vol met Mila and found a girl who was interested on her arrival but happy for her to enter the home. Outside on the walk Mila was good and yes she does pull towards other dogs but nothing that regular correction and a few socialisation classes shouldnt sort. Let's not forget that Mila has had a pretty grim start to life and wouldnt have benefitted from a regular routine, she would have been producing pups at least twice a year and purely a money machine. Life should be so much better now and if Mila can just find a confident handler then all would be well. Mila is fed on a raw diet which she enjoys.
