This lovely girl is Mila who is a GSD / Husky cross who is 6 years old and not spayed. She had her last season in August so now needs to be spayed.
When our volunteer arrived Mika barked but she was behind a baby gate when she entered. When let out she did not try to jump up but settled at her feet whilst she did the assessment.
Mila is quite vocal (the husky in her) but not excessively. She does not like fireworks and will bark at those.
In the house she is a very sweet girl but she is unsure of the outside as she has not been exposed to this or adequately trained or socialised which is not her fault.
She pulls like a train on the lead but a head collar should help with this. She pulls towards other dogs but is nervous of strangers.
Mila is great with the family children, good with big dogs but a bit hit and miss with smaller ones and she lives with cats.
Mila loves to play with water and balls plus she loves having a bath although not having her teeth cleaned.
She sleeps wherever and would get on the bed if allowed. She is used to being left 5 hours at a time.
Mika is being rehomed because of a relationship breakdown
Mila would be best suited to a home with plenty of space, a big garden where she can roam and a family who will give her the mental and physical training that she needs.
Look at those beautiful eyes.
