Max

We took a call from a lovely vet nurse who was urgently seeking our help for this gorgeous boy Max who had been taken into the vets to be euthanised, he’s only 5 years old. Max’s crime was he had bitten the cat.

Max has been neglected, used for breeding and starved of love and affection yet he’s got so much love to give it’s heartbreaking.

Max has a wonderful temperament and just wants love, he placed his head on our volunteers shoulder when he went to collect him from the vets, we don’t think he’s been shown much affection in his little life.

Max is great on the lead with next to no pulling, he is excitable and barks when he sees another dog but is wagging his tail so will need more training with this.

He’s treat and food orientated and would sit, lie down and knows the usual commands

His coat will need some serious attention as he’s matted around his mane but he will be a beautiful long coated boy with some TLC

Max isn’t neutered.

We are looking for a home where he’s initially the only dog and can be slowly introduced to other dogs.

Max cannot live with small furries and we would recommend a home with children over 12.

Max is now at the kennels, bewildered and confused as he really doesn’t understand what he’s done to deserve it.

Please don’t let this beautiful boy be overlooked he really is a gorgeous boy and will thrive in a loving home.
