Martha

What can we say, what a beautiful soul and loved by all. Martha is in kennels in the North Kesteven area of Lincolnshire after she was found wandering the streets as a stray. Staff and volunteers have been interacting and walking Martha for a while, and she is calm, easy to walk and very friendly to strangers once she has checked you out.

Martha is very sassy and takes everything in her stride, she loves a treat or two which she takes very gently and insists on giving her large, heavy paw and loves a cuddle. If a Caucasian does not want to walk any further, they just lay down and refuse to go any further (normally for belly rubs)! Martha is not reactive to other dogs or traffic and takes everything in her stride.

Martha needs someone who is shepherd experienced, has a large garden, and can put in a daily routine, exercise, and stimulation. Due to her size and her large paws (which she loves to offer at every opportunity), and an unknown history, Martha needs a home with no other animals or young children.

Martha is spayed and microchipped.

Martha has lived in a loving home since being with GSDR and got on very well, but due to a change in circumstances Martha returned to kennels through no fault of her own, and the owner was terribly upset to part with her.
