This beautiful boy is Marley who is a 3 year old castrated black long coated shepherd. He is also microchipped and has his own pet passport.
He was good when our assessor went to visit, he initially barked when he heard the knock on the door but then very quickly settled down.
His owner is a foster parent so Marley is used to and good with children of all ages. He is good with his food and has never shown any aggression. He is also good with cats, livestock but shows anxieties towards other dogs although he has lived for 2 years with a GSD girl. Marley is OK with dogs he knows and is walked by a dog walker with 3 other dogs.
Marley is obedience trained and has good recall to a whistle.
Marley's owner has become anxious about his nervous aggression towards other dogs which is making Marley worse, so he needs to be rehomed with a confident, calm owner who will help build Marley's confidence when he is out and about.
Marley is indeed a very handsome boy and has all the makings of a wonderful, loyal companion. Perhaps Marley would cope better in a more rural environment.
