This petite little girl is called Mara, she is a bundle of giddiness and love, she just loves attention. She spent her first year of life in Romania as a guard dog, unbelievable as this little mite couldn't guard a fly. She was severely starved and mistreated, she had open sores all over her legs and wasn't shown any kindness. I'm amazed how friendly she is towards humans.
Mara is very vocal around other dogs, she really has no idea how to behave, although we are working on her doggy etiquette. We have taken her out and about with a calm boy and she settled after a while and walked quietly with no barking or eagerness to pull towards him. We then did parallel walking which helped build her confidence.
Mara is currently in kennels and would really benefit from having some 121 attention. She is being fed 3 small meals per day to help build her tiny body. Although she is such a happy girl and so full of life, she probably realises this is what life is all about.
