This lovely boy is Maka and he is sadly looking for a new home as his parents are moving abroad and Maka cannot go with them.
Maka is a white shorthaired neutered boy. He is vaccinated and microchipped.
Maka has met chhildren of all ages and been fine with them. He hasn't lived with young children but at his tender age we think he will be calm around them.
Maka is not good around other dogs. He does walk fairly well on a lead and has a good recall. He was sent to residential training for his reactivity, and whilst it worked initially when he came home it soon deteriorated. He is let off lead in open spaces where his owner can see who is around. When they went to go for a walk he did get excited and jumped around.
We will say no to cats in his new home.
Maka sadly came from a not so nice breeder. He was poorly on arrival but made a full recovery and has been a healthy dog for the last 8 years.
Maka greeted the volunteer very nicely at the door, no barking gave her a sniff and then off he went. He approached her a couple of times whilst they were filling out the forms and then took himself off again.
This lovely boy deserves a retirement home. His wishes are to be an only dog, with his humans around most of the time for company. He enjoys his walks and whilst he likes a ball he does not bring it back. If you can offer Maka that special home please get in touch
