Magnus is being rehomed as his owner is no longer able to cope, he lives with another entire male and an entire bitch and he shows aggression towards the other male. He gets on fine with the bitch.
Magnus is also nervous-aggressive towards visitors to the home and will lunge and bark at them, he is then fine with people once he becomes used to them (usually after about 4 visits) . Our assessor felt that this has now become a learned behaviour.
He is also reactive and will bark when out on walks at other dogs, cars, bikes and people! Consequently he is now not being walked and spends his time either in the garden or kitchen, his overall situation undoubtedly has compounded his behaviour.
Marcus is a very handsome boy and in the right home with an experienced owner prepared to put the time in to socialise him and work with his nervousness and reactivity he will no doubt improve immensely.
