Lyra is a 2 year old girl who is being rehomed due to her owner not being able to cope with her reactivity. Lyra is very reactive to new people coming into her home and will bark and lunge. With some treats she did eventually settle around our volunteer.
She is also reactive to dogs when she is on a lead, but plays nicely with dogs that she knows when she is off lead, although this has to be in an enclosed field as she has no recall.
Lyra suffers from separation anxiety and would benefit from living with someone who doesn't have to leave her for long hours and who will have the time build up her confidence and work on her anxieties.
