Meet the very beautiful Luna whose 17mths old with a Black and Tan semi coat who is not spayed
Luna is being rehomed due to her current owners I’ll-health and he is unable to give her what she needs long term
Luna is very excitable when she meets people and does jump up, she behaves very much like a pup whose had no training so she would need back to basics
Luna will bark initially when somebody knocks the door, she is currently put in another room and then brought out, she is still mouthing which is again another puppy behaviour so she will require training but this could be made easier as Luna is partial to a sausage which she takes gently from you
We don’t think she gets out much as she was trying to chew the lead so would benefit from a dogmatic or figure of eight to keep her more under control, after a while she did calm down so her behaviour appears to be due to lack of exercise and stimulation and so with a routine and training we are sure she will be an amazing little girl
Luna fell and fractured her back leg when she was a puppy, it’s been fully repaired and you’d never know it has happened considering, luna doesn’t limp or have any difficulties but I wouldn’t place her in a home where the adopters wish to go hiking for example
Sadly our volunteers didn’t see any dogs while out but we are told that she barks initially but not aggressively so again we feel with more frequent interactions and time Luna will be able to play and have doggie friends
Luna has no recall as never been off lead
We feel the home we are looking for is somebody who is going to spend the time with her teaching her how to behave as she’s not been told but is a very clever girl who will thrive in an environment where she has more space and freedom
Luna would be better with a couple who have older children in a more rural or semi rural areas
We wouldn’t recommend small furries as luna has never seen a cat
