LUNA - ESSEX

Little Luna is around 18 months old but acts a lot younger. Due to circumstances beyond the owners control she can no longer keep her.

Luna is an unusual colour for a shepherd and hasd a triple coat that is mainly black but as her new coat comes through it is brown.

Luna at present lives with young children and is particularly bonded to the 6 year old. 

She is sadly unknown around cats and dogs but being young and with the correct introduction and socialisation we are sure that she will be fine with other dogs.

Luna is naturally nervous of strange people and will bark, byurt the volunteer found no aggression just unsure of how she is supposed to react. It took a little time but eventually she was brave enough to have a qwuick sniff before backing off. Luna wiuold need a home who had the patience to allow her to trust and not overwhelm her at the beginning.

Luna protects her family when put because she hasn't been taught different. Her owner struggles to walk her and anxiety falls down the lead so poor Luna is really npot sure what to do. She reacts to absolutely everything but is still manageable whilst doing this.

Luna needs a home who can offer her reassurance and guidance . She is not a difficult dog just confused and a little anxious. With a little time and patience we are sure that she will be a credit to the breed and a fabulously loyal companion.
