Lucy is a beautiful 8yr old sable girl who has had an unsettling few months. Her previous owner died & she was taken in by a neighbour who could not cope with exercising her. She was rehomed but didn't get on with the resident lurcher meaning that Lucy came back to us although her adopter was upset at having to let her go and misses her. She's now in foster with 2 male gsds aged 2 & 4 and tolerates them but we do feel that she would benefit from being the only dog as this is what she has always known and seems happier with. Lucy had had an infected salivary gland removed 3 months ago but her hair is growing back nicely and she is back on fine form. She loves toys and is never far from one so still very playful and will happily play with a ball outside (seems to have an passion for footballs!) We are told she is great with children (grandchildren from previous home) and she is currently living with 4 cats without any problems. She is wary of men as she has never lived with one until now but is fine if they are confident with her. She does respond better to women so would ideally suit a lady who is looking for company and loyalty which Lucy will give in abundance. She walks well on the lead, isn't that bothered by dogs out walking but does need to be introduced to new dogs properly. We'd like to see Lucy get the home she so deserves now so that she can settle and relax with no more thoughts of moving.
