Lola is a 3 year old lovely white pedigree shepherd. She has been well loved by her family and lives with small children and another dog. She is a very loving female and loves nothing more than lots of cuddles, playing with her ball and lots of attention. Lola hasn't had a lot of structured training or socialisation in the past. She knows a few basic commands and her recall is poor. Lola is reactive to other dogs and barks at people when they first enter the house but she soon settles down and will go over for a stroke. She spent some time with our volunteer and was very quick to learn and eager to please. Lola attended some training classes with the volunteer where she reacted well to both dogs and their handlers. She learned very quickly and enjoyed the attention she got. She loves treats and her ball so will be really easy to put this into her training. Lola is crate trained and is ok to be left for several hours on her own. A change in family circumstances means she spends a lot more time in the crate. She travels very well in the car. Somebody with experience of shepherds that has the time to continue with her training would be ideal and would benefit Lola no end.
