Lola is a beautiful 10 month old German shepherd cross Husky who will need a home where they have the experience to continue with her training.She was handed into GSDR with nothing done with her she didn't even know what a collar and lead where so this girl will need lots of help to understand about life. She is currently in a foster home and making great progress and has already learnt some basic commands. She is living with a Greyhound and proving to be very friendly with everyone here is what her foster mum has to say..
She knows basic commands Sit and stay, paw she is not toy possessive or food possessive, she does pull on the lead, but i have ordered a dogmatic to try. She gets excited when seeing other dogs on walks but only because she wants to play with them, she is gentle when playing and shows no aggression, we haven’t come across any cats yet so can’t comment on that one. She walks well off the lead and does come when called. She is settling better at night and sleeps in a crate, but cries for first 20 mins she seems to be settle better at night with light on and radio playing low but is quite stressed during the day when left. She’s friendly and eager to play, she does bark when someone comes to the door or the postman arrives, she is okay when people come into the house. Her house training is coming on and goes out in the garden most of the time she is clean and dry at night. She is very excitable so maybe not good with small children she travels well in the car and does like a bath and a Kong with peanut butter, she is starting to chase and retrieve a ball.
