Loki is a 3 year old boy who is looking to be re homed as his guarding instincts are proving too much for owner especially when childrens friends visit and Loki is sometimes unpredictable around them and sadly they are becoming scared of him. Loki was very good with our volunteer, she heard him barking in the garden and when she entered the property he came to say hello, he was excited but no jumping up or barking, he settled for a stroke and gently took a treat then returned to sit down and play with his toy. Loki is strong on the lead but has very good recall on a long line (he isnt allowed loose as he can be reactive to other dogs). His current owner has good GSD knowledge and training techniques from her previous sheps but Loki has always been a challenge and he chooses to forget what he's been taught and now she has injured her knee it is even more difficult to take out this youngster. Loki is very puppy like and at 3 he'll probably mature soon and settle into routine but for now he is doing his own thing and becoming a little too protective of his home. If someone has the experience to continue training this boy they'll surely get one stunning shepherd in their lives.
