Loki - North Yorks

Loki - North Yorks

Loki is a beautiful young male looking for a new home as he is too big and boisterous and his previous owners don't trust him around the new baby.
Loki is only one year old and he is a clever and energetic dog. When our volunteer went to meet him, he was hyper and very vocal and it took him a few minutes to settle. Once he had calmed down a little, Loki was craving attention and wanted to play.
Our volunteer took him for a walk and he behaved impeccably, checking in for directions and he only showed interest in a couple of dogs they saw when out.
Loki is good in the home - he is clean and crate trained. He has been around children but we wouldn't rehome him with young children due to his boisterous nature.
Loki is a big boy and is quite headstrong. He knows what he wants and gets frustrated when he doesn't get it. He can also be protective in the home and previously had an incident with a cleaner. He is a young boy who needs an experienced owner who can help him understand his place by implementing boundaries and redirecting his energy through training / work.
Loki is basically a big puppy who needs guidance and mental stimulation. In the right home he will thrive and make a fantastic companion and family member.
