Here we have the very handsome Max who likes to be in charge especially when anyone new arrives at the house - he will bark and jump around but once ignored he'll come and have a sniff and go sit by mum - who he is very protective of. Max is only 3 years old and has always been a strong minded individual who respects the male voice and behaves much better around them. He currently lives with another female shepherd who he gets on great with, but outside Max has never interacted well with other dogs, he will bark and create if he sees another dog (especially small ones or worse cats)! Max has been to extensive dog training and does know what is required from him but just chooses to forget, therefore Max would be better re homed to an experienced handler and somewhere they can continue his training and get him through his nervousness around meeting new dogs and lightening up on the lead. Max in the home is a very loving, playful dog who just loves company. Due to a change in work patterns he is now being left for longer periods and this too is adding to his stress levels. All in all Max needs to find a new home asap and get him back to basics on his walks and general obedience. Vaccinated, neutered and microchipped.
