Lilo is 5 years old vaccinated and microchipped but still unspayed.
Lilo is a very nervous young lady, who is unknown around children selective with other dogs and a no to cats.
She is said to be good on and off lead and loves her frisbee.
Lilo is just very unsure of new people and displays what people would say aggressive behaviours. Sadly this doesn't help her, she is fearful so barks believing that those people will go away and they do which means that she has won. What she needs is for someone to still be there and allow her time to get to know them, then she bacomes a very sweet girl.
She was extremely wary of the volunteer and did bark everytme she moved. At one point she did take some treats but the volunteer couldn't interact with her and out on a walk she wasn't happy that the volunteer was there. Generally when people visit Lilo is placed in another room so she feels safe.
Whilst Lilo sounds a difficult young lady, she really is a sweetheart if you have the experience to allow her time to settle and introduce her VERY slowly. Once she has settled and is happy she will be a dream with her new family. She did say she would like a home with understanding experienced people who only have a handful of visitors.
