Lexi is a stunning 6 year old entire girl who just loves to be loved. Sadly with the recent passing of her mum and dad working long hours she is now looking for a new forever home as she is used to being with someone most of the day. Lexi greeted our volunteer with a bark but within seconds was showering him with kisses and wanting affection. Outside Lexi appeared good on the lead and we are told has very good recall, she never strays very far from you. She walked past one dog with volunteer and showed interest. He thought she was gorgeous!
UPDATE: Lexi was re homed but sadly due to her strength on the lead and her inability to settle with a visiting family dog it is with great regret that lexi now needs to find a new home. They cannnot fault this girls behaviour inside the house, she is loving to every family member including small children. She has been taken to socialisation classes where a few grumbles have been heard but after the session she was happily off lead and not bothering with the other dogs, however on the lead she is far more wary and this will need further work as she does pounce without warning on a nearby unsuspecting dog. It would be brilliant to find Lexi a new home where she can be the only dog and have a big enough garden to roam around in and just have her humans to love.
