Lexi is looking to be re homed due to owners change in work patterns and feels enough time isnt available to give Lexi the attention she deserves. She is 2 years old and a typical blustery youngster who greeted our volunteer with a bark and bouncy behaviour (Lexi was being held on the lead when he arrived, he asked for the dog to be released and she was absolultely fine, just had a sniff and said hello). We are told Lexi can be reactive to some dogs when out walking, our volunteer witnessed this but he did ask the owner to pass over Lexi, whereby he held her closer to him (rather than letting her walk in front) after a few minutes she was happily walking at his side, sat at the kerb and walked past another dog without incident. Therefore going forward Lexi just needs an owner who is confident and maintains pack leader status. She is a very good looking dog and also intelligent, it doesnt take her long to get the gist of what you are asking of her. If you have had your home check and ready to give a girl like Lexi a new forever home, please get in touch with your Area Co Ordinator.
