We sadly have 4 days to find this young lady a home. Her owner is extremely unwell and a friend is looking after Laney until a home can be found. She sadly has a commitment that she cannot get out of from 11th April, so this really is very urgent.
Laney is a gorgeous girlie of 7 years, she is spayed vaccinated and microchipped.
Her present owner took Laney in form her son in 2021. She has been totally spoilt by her present owner. She gained a fair amount of weight so is now on a diet. A dog walker was engaged which has certainly helped.
Laney greeted the volunteer beautifully with a sniff and a wag of the tail.. Then off she went to get him her toys so thta they could play.
On a walk she trots ahead on an extendable lead, not brilliant at heeling but under control. She took no notice of dogs that were passing about 25M away. She seems to be better with dogs her own size but not so good with little dogs.
Laney does have a problem with her back legs. They are quite weak, so she has 3 short walks a ady and that is helping with her weight loss. Even with her back legs she wants to play ball . A very sweet natured young lady who really deserves her retirement home .
