Lady is looking to be re-homed due to owners illness. She is a friendly family dog who has lived with young children from being a pup. Lady was quite happy to meet our volunteers and have a fuss and cuddle, then just lay quietly down. Outside Lady is walked on a harness which doesn't really give too much control so she can pull and our volunteer thought she would be much better with a head collar. We are told Lady is reactive to other dogs but although vocal to our volunteer's dog (he wasn't phased by Lady) therefore with a little more socialisation Lady should settle quite easily around other dogs. Lady has recently had itchy skin, probably a flea allergy but it is okay now after medication. Lady definitely is a sweet-natured family dog who should settle into a new forever home very easily.
