Koda - Merseyside

Koda is a 5 year old boy who is being re homed due to owner now working much longer hours which incur nights away which means Koda is being left home alone which isnt ideal. Koda is a high energy boy, friendly but excitable. Around his owner she is able to contain his high spirits when he sees a dog but it is clear that Koda will need an experienced home where they can work through his high energy levels when he sees a dog. Koda was re homed and it proved far too challenging to cope with his antics on the lead and he has since been returned to his owner but it still remains that he needs re homing. Koda also has a thing about shadows and can chase shapes (he can be distracted but again it is something to be aware of). Hopefully Koda is going to go to a socialisation class where strangers can interact with their dogs and assess the way forward to calm Koda around new doggie friends. This is one beautiful dog who is very loving, adores playing with his frisbee and balls and on the whole with his mum is no trouble at all. Take him away from what he knows and his excitement levels are much higher.  It would be good if Koda could find an experienced handler who has the time to work through issues quietly and patiently.
