Here we have a big soft loveable bear of a dog in Kobi sadly looking to be re homed due to not being able to go to work with his owner anymore (due to health & safety). Kobi greeted our assessor like a long lost friend with a woof and big kisses. Kobi is definitely more exuberant than usual due to now being kept home and not getting the outdoor life he is used to i.e. wandering around gardens playing with his beloved ball. Kobi is in need of some manners as he will try to jump up and kiss your face but there is absolutely no malice in this boy whatsoever. On the lead he is manageable on a head collar and off lead he has excellent recall and will happily play fetch. Kobi is just one big pup needing to find a more active home where his energy can be channelled and indeed his lead training worked on. Kobi is very good around a 4 year old grand daughter, even though she gets swept aside by the big lad. Kobi is used to chickens around the premises, which he herds when he can, again no malice towards them. Outside with other dogs he just wants to play but again he does need to tone down his exuberance. Kobi is a big lad who will make a great family pet but definitely needs someone who is experienced around young excitable boys!
