Kimi is a beautiful 2 1/2 yr old neutered girl. She is vaccinated and microchipped. Kimi is good with children of all ages as long as introduced properly. She is also good with other dogs , she is currently in foster with a young male GSD. Kimi has a high prey drive so is a definite no to cats and livestock.
Kimi came to GSDR a few months ago after having a litter of 9 pups from her first season, she hadn't been walked for a number of months. She has been going to dog training school twice a week and has made good progress. While in training mode Kimi is an amazing dog who is very eager to please and gets along with everyone.
Walking for pleasure is not something Kimi has mastered yet. She is usually walked muzzled on a gentle leader. Kimi will lunge at anything that moves in this situation, cars, bikes, horses, other dogs and people. She becomes extremely anxious if she can see things approaching her. Time and patience will help her overcome her fears but this will not happen overnight so Kimi needs somebody who is committed to regular training to deal with her issues.
Kimi has an amazing personality and is very loving in the home. She needs a new home who has the time to devote to training Kimi out of her issues. She has vast amounts of potential in the right hands. If you are what Kimi is waiting for please get in touch.
