Sid is just a youngster but sadly looking for his 3rd or even 4th home.
His present owners adopted him from Facebook and were defiunitely lied to about his issues. They have tried really hard to work with him but their family dynamics make it really difficult so they have made the decision that Sid needs to be rehomed.
The volunteer went to meet Sid back in June. He felt that Sid was a very confused young man. He is a big lad but in his previous home he learnt to protect his owner, The volunteer didn't get to actually meet and play with Sid as he wasn't happy that there was someone in his home.
Fasdt forward 3 months and the volunteer returned but not to the house. Theowner took Sid and the volunteer for a walk. Sid is now muzzled when out. Sid is responding well to training and with no distractions or intruders into his poersonal space he appears to be a well trained biy. Definite improvement on the lead.
BUT enter his personal space or get too close to the female in the home and Sid goes into hyper protective mode.
He has been to kennels without incident and they could not understand what the problem was.
The family have triued really hard but admit they cannot cope and wish for him to be rehomed whilst he is still young enough to be reset.
Is there anyone that feels that they could take on this biy? Esxperience of guarding is a must.
