Sadly Sab finds himself looking for a new home due a change in owners circumstances.
Sab would like someone who is home lots of the time, he gets very stressy when left alone and rather than destroying the house he tends to self harm.
Sab has not lived with children so we would only consider teenage upwards.
He is unknown around cats and livestock.
The volunteer found an extremely friendly boy who wanted to introduce himself and jumps up, no aggression.
Sab welcomes visitors with a generous wag of his tail. He is a gentle giant who wants no more than to join you on the sofa. This is not surprising as he has been given few boundaries, and has learnt to enjoy a few luxuries. He is a dog who will sniff and lick to get affection - and will do so relentlessly until distracted. He really has a great nature.
He has regularly been out with a dog walker and their changing pack of dogs. He loves the company of these other dogs but has never lived with another dog. He loves to play ball and chase on the stairs in his home, and will have so much fun when he gets his own garden.
He has had problems with his diet in the past, He needs a home where he can be kept on a carefully restricted diet focused on chicken. This is one luxury that must be maintained.
Sab was given a good start, but due to a change in circumstances is now being left for long periods of time He is both young enough, and bright enough to learn some new boundaries and build on the basics. Although he walks reasonably well on the lead, he is a big strong boy, and as with many dogs his age needs work on heeling and recall.
Do you think he is for you, he really deserves his forever home, he will make a wonderful companion
