This very handsome 6 year old boy was taken to the vets to be PTS, thankfully the vet called the rescue and our assessor went down to meet him and find out more about Kai. He apparently has lived with another dog, which is where the initial problem arose, a fight ensued between the two dogs and owner had enough and signed him over to her vets. The vet said Kai was very good around all the staff and had never shown aggression to owner or other dog before, so was that really the reason? Sadly we will never know. Anyway our assessor thought Kai was a boy with the softest of eyes and could tell straight away that with some proper direction this boy could be turned around. Kai is now in foster where he is receiving a good daily routine, enjoying his walks, learning to walk passed cars without reacting, becoming more socialised around dogs, which he barks at but in a friendly manner. Kai appears one very happy dog no toy or food aggression. He genuinely loves to be with you and have a cuddle as often as you like. Kai does react to cats.
